Startups are not for the faint of heart. You are here because you believe you have an idea that could change the world, and we are here to help you make that happen. Our upcoming blog will offer you valuable tips and guidance to help launch, grow, and expand your startup from something small, to something big - and from something big to something great.

Here's a sneak preview of what's to come. Don't forget to hit subscribe to be the first to know when we drop new content.

Startups 101

In our upcoming articles and guides we hope to empower founders with knowledge to cover your basics, get you started and ready to grow. From correctly outlining the problem you are trying to solve, figuring out what the best MVP is to test your assumptions, correctly defining your market (hint, this is not just so it looks good on a pitch deck!), finding and vetting co-founders, growing your team, developing and managing your product, how to measure what matters (including the things you initially might not think can even be measured!) and analytics best practices, to developing your brand and go-to-market strategy and tactics, legal pitfalls, governance basics (including deciding which country to first incorporate in), and most importantly - how to stay focused on what truly matters, when it matters the most.

International Expansion

Watch this space as well for comprehensive country guides, to help you decide where is best to incorporate your startup, where to run your operations from, or where base your team, to what pitfalls can catch early founders unawares when it comes to taxes, HR and recruitment, IP and trademarking - and much more.

A key focus here at Nimbld Ventures is on startups that wish to expand from Europe to the United States, including reincorporations and restructures (including "Delaware flips"), but also on setting you up locally - and fully ready to do business.

Fundraising & Managing relationships with investors

Fundraising is tough and time-consuming. We will be releasing a wide-range of content, from articles to help you better understand when you are ready to fundraise, how to vet investors. Spoiler alert: not all investors are created equal, and it's not just whether they choose you - you're also choosing them, so choose wisely: as these relationships will have an outsized impact on your startup, for better... or for worse.

Learn about investment instruments for each stage, how to set and manage a cap table, how to set your startup valuation, key terms and glossaries, sneaky early-stage fundraising pitfalls, how to evaluate and access grants or accelerators (and how to assess which are best for your business at which stage), and much more.

Harnessing Technology Wisely

In the startup world, technology is vital, but it can be a double-edged sword: used well it can turn your enterprise into a lean, mean, well-oiled productivity machine. Used poorly, it can be a money drain, a waste of time, a source of headaches and stress, and worst case scenario - it can expose you to liabilities.

From everyday tools, such as project management tools such as Trello or Asana to customer relationship management (CRM) software such as Salesforce, technology can enhance your productivity and streamline your processes. But, more importantly, we will also cover technology from a product development and management perspective: which tech stack to choose when, how to manage and monitor performance, and how to lock down data privacy and good governance.

The Journey Ahead

Building a startup is an exciting yet challenging adventure, filled with opportunities for growth and learning. Stay tuned for our upcoming content - blog articles, news, guides, whitepapers and reports, videos, as well as our upcoming exclusive courses - where we will share essential tips, tools, and strategies for launching, growing, and expanding your startup.
